Meagan is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in West Virginia and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Individual and Family Studies from Indian River State College in Vero Beach, Florida, in 2013, followed by her Master of Social Work from Barry University in Miami, Florida, in 2016.
Meagan has experience providing mental health services in outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization settings. Throughout her career, she has worked with children, adolescents, families, young adults, adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, helping them navigate a wide range of mental health concerns and life challenges.
Her clinical experience includes working with individuals diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), substance use disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Attention-Deficit Disorder (ADD), and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Meagan’s approach to therapy is centered on creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to heal, develop effective coping strategies, and work through life’s challenges. She believes in meeting each individual where they are and tailoring treatment to support their unique goals, needs, and strengths.
Outside of her professional work, Meagan enjoys reading, swimming, exploring nature trails, spending time with family and friends, and participating in community events.
