Summer Bivins, LGSW

Summer offers in office, in-home and telehealth psychotherapy sessions for West Virginia residents. She works out of the Beckley office. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Arts Degree in Social work from Concord University. Her past work experience includes 10 years in pharmaceutical services as a pharmacy technician which led her to want to become a counselor. She has worked in the mental health field as a therapist since 2017.

Summer enjoys assisting her clients in learning new and helpful coping skills that they can use throughout their lifetime. She believes during the therapy process; you are a team and are in this together. She was recently trained in TF-CBT. In her free time, she enjoys singing and dancing. She also enjoys spending time with her sons and her dogs.
