Khadijah Brown, BS, MA, Resident In Counseling
Khadijah Brown offers psychotherapy to adults and children in West Virginia. She received a bachelors of science in psychology from West Virginia University and a masters of art degree in mental health counseling from Marshall University in 2021.
She has been working in the mental health field for 4 years with both inpatient and outpatient experience. She has been trained in CBT, TF-CBT, YMHFA, Play Therapy, DBT, and eating disorders. Khadijah loves people and is overjoyed about working in a field where she can help individuals return to what they feel is a fulfilling life.
She believes that therapy should be a collaborative process and goal oriented but also with children she believe there should always be collaboration with their guardian but also a degree of fun so it is less stressful for that population. She includes a broad range of modalities and treatment strategies to help clients not only have a positive therapeutic experience, but reach their goals by reducing their symptoms.
