Josh Darnell, MA

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which helps clients identify and challenge negative thoughts and behaviors to make positive changes in their lives. I love working with people aged 14 to 40, especially adolescents aged 14 to 18. Guiding teens through the ups and downs of adolescence is a passion of mine, and I strive to provide the support they need to navigate this critical stage. I also enjoy helping young adults aged 19 to 25 manage the transition to adulthood. I have extensive experience helping adolescents cope with anxiety and depression, giving them the tools they need to thrive and flourish in their lives. I also focus on stress management, helping clients develop effective ways to handle everyday stress, and I work on modifying problematic behaviors using evidence-based practices. Plus, I use Dungeons & Dragons for group therapy, which is a fun and engaging way to build social skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. I aim to empower individuals to overcome challenges, build resilience, and lead more fulfilling lives.
