Have Questions? We're Here For You
Telehealth is offered by face to face video or phone (phone appointments are dependent on insurance approval). A link is sent by text or email 48 hours before your appointment. Click the link when it is time for your appointment and relax in your own home while meeting with your therapist.
You can call the office at 681-282-5678 and tell them your basic information (name, address, phone number, email, and insurance) or click here to request a call from the office. We need a short phone call to gather your name, email, phone number, address, and insurance information. Once the office schedules your appointment, you will be sent intake paperwork by email which you can sign in your online portal. If you prefer to fill out paperwork in person, you are welcome to drop by any office location and fill out the initial consents.
We will begin therapy by assessing your presenting problems, defining your needs, establishing your goals, and developing a plan to reach those goals. How we get there looks different for each person. It can be a process of talking together about what matters to you and your counselor sharing with you what they hear and see, or it can be using EMDR therapy in which we process traumatic memories and replace negative cognitions with more positive cognitions.
Counseling fees are usually covered totally by insurance but can vary depending on your specific plan and any copays or deductibles you may have.
The number of therapy sessions with your counselor is based on medical necessity. This is decided during your initial evaluation. Usually, therapy sessions are held every other week.
The length of your appointment time is based on medical necessity, age, and attention span. They usually last for one hour but if you have a limited attention span or have made significant progress, they may be reduced to 30 or 45 minutes.
You must cancel your appointment 48 hours or more prior to your session. Sessions can be canceled with the reminder text or by calling the office.
You may schedule your appointment online; however, we still need to talk to you to gather basic information including your insurance number. If we cannot reach you by phone, that appointment request will be declined until we can reach you by phone.

You do NOT need a referral.
Therapy will both challenge and change you. The therapeutic process is very unique. You may find relief from your discomfort immediately or it may take months. You will always feel safe but therapy is not always comfortable.
Some of the benefits of therapy include the relief of bodily tension and psychological stress, as well as dramatic and lasting shifts in understanding and insight. These shifts happen spontaneously as you learn more about what your body is telling you. You will experience a feeling of release and ease as you move into a space of knowing what is true and right for you.
